What Guests Are Saying
Chilatchee Creek is praised for its cleanliness, well-maintained campsites, and friendly hosts, particularly Kim, who is noted for her helpfulness. The campground offers a peaceful atmosphere with beautiful views and ample space for privacy, making it a hidden gem for campers. While access involves a mile-long dirt road and cell reception is poor, these factors do not detract significantly from the overall positive experience.

This campground is on a beautiful river reservoir, (lots of fish jumping) very serene and peaceful at the time of our visit. There is 2 miles of dirt road before you get to the campground but goes back to regular pavement at the place. Site 12 is very level and has a wonderful view of the water. Some of the sites will have a dock for boats, most of the sites do not have a way to get to the water. There is not a beach area. Bathrooms are very clean. Lots of birds singing, and the occasional racoons at night, so do not leave your stuff out...
The hostess is very friendly and helpful. Bring all you need if camping more than a day. No stores close to camp.
Will definitely go back to this campground.

The camp is very good once you're past the dirt road that musts be traveled to get to the camp. Otherwise, it was a most pleasant experience and we will stay there again in the future. The park host was so very helpful and adds to the comfort of staying there. She went above and beyond with the service she provided. Donna, the camp host, was willing to drive to the other end of the dirt road, which is oh by the way, very narrow and single lane so as to prohibit motorhomes and RV's from meeting on the road. We'll be back!!
