What Guests Are Saying
Chilatchee Creek is praised for its cleanliness, well-maintained campsites, and friendly hosts, particularly Kim, who is noted for her helpfulness. The campground offers a peaceful atmosphere with beautiful views and ample space for privacy, making it a hidden gem for campers. While access involves a mile-long dirt road and cell reception is poor, these factors do not detract significantly from the overall positive experience.

It is a beautiful park we had such a quiet nice space with a big deck the morning the mist coming off of the river was just beautiful. Our host Kim was the greatest, kind and helpful. We toured Cahaba the 1st capital of Alabama it's now a ghost town so interesting suggested to us by TheFarmersMarket in Orville.which has wonderful food

A delightful hidden gem. Needs a little work on the access road and the power posts. But beautiful sites along the river and hidden in the woods according to your desires. The staff is friendly and helpful, they made me feel a part of their family. I will definitely be coming back.

We came in late so we weren’t able to experience it during the full daylight. However, we did experience one of the most sunrises over the lake! Absolutely serene. Campground is larger than i originally expected, and the sites are pretty big too.
