What a great campground! Very relaxing. Quiet, except for the church bells across the cove, which ring every hour on the hour from 9 am to 6pm. At first that was kind of distracting, but we got used to it pretty quick. Barking dogs, my pet peeve (no pun intended), on the other side of the cove as well, but they weren't consistently noisy, just sometimes when they would go on a tear.
We like to kayak and it was great for that. We saw a few smallish (about 4-5') gators, but they were barely moving.
There is a nice little park across the highway that we rode our bikes to. Got good cell service with no problem for mobile hotspot streaming.
Well-kept campground, clean bathrooms. We had a peaceful and relaxing week there and will definitely go back.

Was very quiet. Only about 6 sites being used. Nice sites lots of room. Bathrooms clean and had hot water. Part of road in is dirt , maybe a mile of it. Not to much close by in the way of shops. Was amazed how much trash on the road before turning towards the campground. Alabama really needs to work on this, no pride in the way thing are keep up. It was not the campground, it was clean, Got a few tv channels over the air and cell phone had a couple of bars
