Very nice and clean. I liked how spacious the lots were apart from each other. Will be returning in the future.

This is a beautiful campground located along the Dannelly Reservoir on the Alabama River. My wife and I enjoyed the peace and quiet. We enjoyed riding our bikes and walking our dogs and just enjoying nature. Camp hosts could not have been any nicer. We did have a bit of a problem with ants entering our travel trailer and truck, but was our own fault because we forgot to put out ant poison like we normally do. Overall our stay was wonderful. We will be back, even if just for a weekend getaway since It is only about an 80 mile drive from our home.

Plenty of shade. Had a great time in spite of the heat.

We have always enjoyed camping at Millers Ferry but were disappointed this trip. It was evident the grass had not been cut in a while. It was up to our knees. And we couldn’t use the showers or laundry room because of the ants. And it wasn’t a few crawling around, it was hundreds. And I promise that’s not an exaggeration. We took one step in the laundry room and got covered immediately. We’ve been several times but this was the first time we brought our grandkids. So we were extremely disappointed in the condition things were in. And Millers Ferry is such a pretty place and one of our favorites. And the hosts have always been friendly and helpful. I would hate to see it go down with these kind of conditions.

This park once was nice, but overgrown with tree limbs, underbrush, fallen trees, compost, thick weeds and no paths along the water. The sites are inaccessible to the water. The trails once used as a path to restrooms are gone. The contract for park maintenance needs reevaluated and replaced with another company. The long term makeshift homesteading give it a trailer park vibe. The gators and snakes are abundant. The upside of the park is slim. It does have laundry room and many species of birds. Bring the park back to life and support with adequate staffing.
