We camped on site #30, which has a picturesque view of the lake. This campground is very quiet, as is the surrounding area. We visited the Millers Ferry Lock and Dam, Camden Alabama is a quaint town with an Old South charm that supplied our need for fuel and the things we forgot to bring.

We had a fabulous time. The Kinmans are wonderful people and very helpful. The gators need to be relocated as they are getting a little to close.

It doesn’t make any sense to not allow campers to stay longer than 2 weeks on the water sites. You can ride through the campground at any given time and see empty sites on the water with no prospect of anyone coming to rent them. You’re losing so much money. Bad management!!!!!

The park is getting a little run down. They finally had the grass cut the day we came in. The piers are in terrible shape. Having some one in a wheelchair is almost impossible to get one them safely. I think this park should get some funding like the other ones around them are getting.
