Stayed 7 days and camping trip was nice, Connie was at the gate house and she was so helpful with everything. None of the restrooms had paper towels or soap, maybe it was a COVID thing.

Good example of a Corps campground. Everything needed for a good site in a nice setting.

We really enjoyed our spring camping trip at Miller’s Ferry. The grass was cut & site #22 was blowed off. All we had to do was pull in & hook up. The fishing was really good & visiting friends in the campground that we have grown to know each year

Millers Ferry Campground was a very well maintained park. The sites were clean, paved and water and power (no sewer) was functioning well. We do not use bathhouses so I can’t comment on them but they did have them and looked like there were laundry facilities on property as well. The grounds also had 2 playgrounds (one old school playground and a newer play structure.)
There are so many sites along the water and the park was never full, on a weekend no less. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed a full day on Sunday before checkout at 3 pm. We camped in site 21 in our 38ft travel trailer. We fished, paddleboarded, road bikes and walked the dog. While paddlboarding, I saw fish, turtles, a small gator and lots of birds.
The park is not huge but the layout made it feel like it was with all the various loops that took full advantage of the waterfront. Many sites had their own docks (our did not).
The internet worked well also. I have Verizon iPhone and we use a Verizon Mi-Fi for other devices and my hubby uses AT&T on his Samsung and we had great service the entire weekend.
This was our first time at this park and we both said we will definitely be coming back and bringing the Gheenoe next time.
