Pickensville Campground is located just west of Pickensville, Alabama, on Aliceville Lake on the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway. This campground boasts both a campground and day use area with many activities and amenities for families and outdoor enthusiasts. Visitors enjoy hunting, fishing, picnicking, water sports and watching the barges go by on the waterway.

We had so much fun! We ran into people we knew and all the campers (besides maybe 1 🙃) were VERY friendly!! One down side would be ticks. Our kiddos were covered in them. But its nature, it'll happen. We will definitely come back!

The camp hosts, Delbert and Annette and Raymond and Ramona were superior!! Being so close to Laurel Mississippi, we drove down in the Jeep for a couple days. The extremely deep channel with the barge traffic was interesting. The fishing was just so-so. The camp sites were very good as are the shower facilities. The area is very clean of any tree debris.
