We were in site 67 with 50A, water & sewer. This is a gorgeous, very deep site, super shaded. We were able to find a bit of an opening to get a starlink signal. Not terribly far to town for supplies (Walmart, Kroger, Tractor Supply, fuel, etc) This is at least our 4th visit to Dewayne Hayes, enjoyed every one of them.

We always enjoy or trips to Dewayne Hayse campgrounds. The gate staff are friendly and helpful. The facility has everything we need. Peace and quiet abound. My grandson got to catch some fish and even see a 3 foot alligator this time. We will be back soon.

I do understand dogs are supposed to be on a leash. A camp host walked up to my camper as my dog laid at the steps, and addressed our dog not being on a leash. She had a shock collar on, and when she has that on she will NOT leave the camp site. I could understand if my dog was roaming the camp ground. Camping is our get away, not a get away for a camp host to show up micro managing stuff. Do better.
