We love camping at Dwayne Hayes. There is plenty of room to ride bikes and several playgrounds to ride bikes. Park hosts are very friendly.

Good little spot. If it wasn't for the crazy amount of mosquitoes and ticks it would be better. The grounds are kept up for the most part. The road in and through the park is riddled with cracks in the pavement leading to constant bumps on the ebike. There is a little trail near the entrance to the park at the main road. There is some playground stuff and grills to use but other then that there is not alot to do. Only 10 miles approximately to Columbus.

This is a beautiful campground with clean sites for all types of RVs! We always enjoy our stays here. The hosts are very friendly and it is quiet but not too far out of town. Very peaceful.

This place completely won me over. I arrived under the worst circumstances: exhausted after a 12-hour drive, missing the strict 10 PM check-in cut-off by just 20 minutes. The gate host was unyielding and made me park outside the gate for the night, which was incredibly frustrating and exhausting at the time.
But looking back, that rough start turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Being forced to park outside actually allowed me to completely switch off my work phones, disconnect, and truly reset. It saved me from the usual daily stress and let me genuinely relax today.
Once I got past the initial struggle, the campground itself completely blew me away. The grounds are incredibly peaceful, and the restroom maintenance is absolutely immaculate. The facilities are so high-quality that they completely nullified all the frustration of the first night.
I’m giving this place a well-deserved five stars because the peace and quality are unmatched. Just take this as a warning: be here before 10 PM! Otherwise, be prepared for a bit of a "sweet struggle" at the gate—but trust me, the destination is entirely worth it.

We were in site 67 with 50A, water & sewer. This is a gorgeous, very deep site, super shaded. We were able to find a bit of an opening to get a starlink signal. Not terribly far to town for supplies (Walmart, Kroger, Tractor Supply, fuel, etc) This is at least our 4th visit to Dewayne Hayes, enjoyed every one of them.
