large lots with fire rings. We were there in December and we practically had the place to ourselves.
very nice and clean bathrooms and showers.
We were right by the water and a barge came by at night with a real bright light. Thought it was headed right for us,
but it turned. Quit exciting.

We just happened upon this place on our way home from Florida. It was December and cold, but the campground was nice, well maintained and clean.
We were right next to a waterway and it looks like a really good place to stay in warmer weather.

Our camp sites were along the river. Fantastic location for viewing the river and seeing the barges. The Park is beautiful, idea for bike riding or casual strolls. We enjoyed it so much that we shared it with friends and a group of us have made reservations to return in May.
