What Guests Are Saying
Pickensville Campground offers a clean, well-kept, and peaceful environment, ideal for relaxation and outdoor activities like biking. Many campers enjoyed spacious, shady sites with beautiful water views and friendly staff. While some facilities, such as the bathhouses, could use updates, the overall experience is positive, with visitors planning to return.

We have always loved camping at Pickensville, no matter the season or the site we're on. Sites are well spaced out with level concrete parking pads, large graveled area with picnic table, lantern pole, grill, grill table. The hosts have always been friendly and helpful (if needed). The campground is large with mostly level roads...those and the trails make for fun bike riding or walking/hiking. This is a great campground if you have children in tow. You cannot go wrong staying at Pickensville!

Grass was grown up, the beach is closed possibly permanently and it is not on their page telling people about the closure. Then the staff cant keep reservations straight. They got us confused with other campers who didn't pay and had the park ranger come get us to figure out why we didn't pay. It was horrible. We booked and paid online. It took 30 minutes to get them to understand they had the wrong people.
