This campground boasts both a campground and day use area with many activities and amenities for families and outdoor enthusiasts. Very quiet and peaceful. Very relaxing as well. Helped the campgrounds by picking up fallen limbs in order to build a fire. Worked out great. The weather was typical for fall, warm day and cool nights. My wife was able to see a barge passing during night time. It brings back fond memories for her. We had another really good experience with our 6 yr old dog, a Great Pyrenees, 2nd trip for her. Very nice campground with a kids playground and lots of space to walk or ride bicycles or fish.
