What Guests Are Saying
Pickensville Campground offers spacious, well-maintained sites with a beautiful riverside view, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and outdoor activities like biking. The campground is noted for its cleanliness, friendly staff, and peaceful atmosphere, with many guests expressing a desire to return. While some facilities, like certain bathrooms, show signs of age and there are limited full hookups, ongoing improvements are being made to enhance the overall experience.

Campsite was very clean along with the bath houses and trails. We enjoyed the campground and the crappie fishing was good, which made us appreciate the work done on the fish cleaning stations and the upkeep of them.

The sites were clean as was the bath house facilities. We were still not able to use the laundry facility. This is odd, as all Corp campgrounds are not keeping this option closed (reason being here is Covid). Also of more importance, there are no play areas for children! Very sad for little ones.

Very nice campground. We had a riverfront spot because we wanted to fish while we camped. The corp has done some major renovation of the riverbank making a muddy mess due to all the rain but it will be very nice once the grass grows back. We were able to fish and caught several catfish. We were in spot 107 and will return to this spot again.

Check The Ole Country Bakery in Brooksville, MS. Excellent baked good and fresh sandwiches for lunch.

Everything and everyone was great except the mosquitoes were VERY bad.
Enjoyed watching a barge go through the locks.
