What Guests Are Saying
Pickensville Campground offers spacious, well-maintained sites with a beautiful riverside view, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and outdoor activities like biking. The campground is noted for its cleanliness, friendly staff, and peaceful atmosphere, with many guests expressing a desire to return. While some facilities, like certain bathrooms, show signs of age and there are limited full hookups, ongoing improvements are being made to enhance the overall experience.

We had site 138 alongside the river. Great closeup view of the tug boats pushing barges up and down the Tenn-Tom. Also eagles roosting in the top of trees just across the river and flying overhead. Great park to stay a few days and relax.

Another great COE park. Sites clean and very friendly staff. Excellent T-mobile coverage. Able to stream with Roku. No satellite due to trees. Interesting to watch tugs and barges on the river. Lock and dam is close enough to watch boats go thru.

The park was very well kept. All of the hosts and staff were friendly easy to talk with and had good local information, Our site #117 was a full hook up back in with-in 5o yards to the water which provided an excellent view of the passing barges. Shower houses very clean, wished the laundry room was open but hey that's winter camping. Aliceville POW Museum was very interesting, and Lunch at "Angie's" is a must. Day trip to Starksville for Pres. U.S.Grants Library was a learning surprise and with the Abe Lincoln memorabilia was a plus.
