Policies & Rules

Deposit

  • Welcome to Brag Patch RV Park. These Terms and Conditions serve as the written rules governing your stay. In accordance with Alabama Code § 35-15-30, the Park reserves the right to remove any guest for failure to comply with these rules, non-payment, possession or trafficking of controlled substances, disorderly conduct, or other violations of Alabama law. By entering the premises and/or registering a reservation, you agree to comply with all provisions herein.
  • Late Check-Out: Must be approved in advance; may incur additional fees
  • Water, sewer, and trash included excessive water usage may incur fees.
  • Pavilion available for reservation with deposit; must be cleaned after use

General

  • Late Arrival: Permitted with prior communication to the park
  • No switching campsites or transferring reservation rights without written permission.
  • Outdoor Rugs/mats are permitted but must go with you when you leave.
  • Storage under or around RVs are prohibited.
  • Children under 18 must be supervised by a responsible adult.
  • Disorderly conduct or unlawful activity is prohibited.
  • 3. Utilities
  • Site rate includes electric, water, and sewer.
  • Must set up and maintain personal utility accounts (e.g., electric).
  • Park provides required documentation for utility setup.
  • Internet or cable installations require prior approval.
  • Only RV-safe toilet paper and chemicals permitted in sewer system.
  • No dumping of gray water onto the ground.
  • Sewer hoses must form a tight seal.
  • Tampering with utility pedestals is prohibited.
  • Children must be under adult supervision
  • Severe weather: Follow staff instructions and shelter protocols
  • Disorderly conduct or criminal activity may result in immediate removal
  • Swim at your own risk (no lifeguard)
  • Children under 18 must be supervised
  • No harassment, threats, or discriminatory conduct (grounds for immediate removal)
  • Prohibited items: Offensive or hateful signage, flags, or symbols
  • Lewd or indecent conduct (including public nudity or sex acts) is not permitted
  • Excessive intoxication or disruptive behavior—even within private sites—is prohibited
  • Failure to pay for site rental is submit to removal
  • Possession or use of traffic-controlled substances is submitted to removal
  • Issue written notice via email or posted notice
  • Allow a 10-day period for removal
  • No liability is assumed by the park during removal or disposal
  • Long-term (monthly) tenants are required to pass a background check performed by TransUnion Rental Screening Solutions, Inc. prior to approval. Management reserves the right to deny any application at its sole discretion.

Guests

  • Campers and visitors must register upon arrival.
  • Daily/Weekly Guests and Seasonal Guest:

  • Long-term guests may wash their RV once per year.
  • All Guests:
  • All guests must contribute to a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment.
  • Guests must not trespass onto other sites
  • Park reserves the right to remove any guest violating these standards under Ala. Code § 35-15-30 without a formal eviction process. In such cases, Park management is authorized to summon law enforcement. Guests removed under this law waive formal eviction proceedings
  • Reporting: Guests may report violations directly to management. Issues will be investigated promptly and handled discreetly. Law enforcement may be contacted at Park discretion.
  • If a guest fails to vacate after default or removal, the RV and possessions may be considered abandoned personal property. Park will:
  • If unclaimed, the Park may remove, store, or dispose of property at the guest’s expense
  • Monthly guests are not residential tenants under Alabama landlord-tenant law. Their stay is classified as temporary, recreational occupancy and governed by campground policies. The Park reserves the right to terminate any monthly agreement without the need for formal eviction.

Pets

  • Campers are responsible for the conduct of all occupants, pets, and guests at their site.
  • Maximum: 3 pets per site
  • Leashes required at all times; no outdoor unattended pets (even in dog runs or crates)
  • Portable travel pet fencing, playpens, or temporary enclosures are allowed during your stay. All temporary fencing and enclosures must be completely removed before check-out. Permanent pet fencing or enclosures are strictly prohibited. Pets may never be left unattended, even inside a temporary enclosure.
  • Aggressive pets (growling, lunging, biting) must be removed immediately
  • Dogs are not allowed on the lakefront beach area or in the pavilion except in designated dog areas. Pets (including dogs) are not permitted inside any park buildings except for registered service animals (ADA). Designated dog areas will be clearly marked with signage or noted at check-in. All pets must remain leashed and under direct control at all times, even in designated areas.
  • Guests are required to clean up after their pets immediately in all areas of the park, including their own site, the dog park, when walking their dogs, and inside any personal pet pens or enclosures. Waste must be placed in the designated pet-waste stations or dumpsters. Excessive barking that disturbs other guests may result in eviction. Failure to clean up after pets is also grounds for immediate removal from the park.

Safety

  • Brag Patch RV Park is not liable for injuries, loss, or damage to personal property.
  • Campers must dispose of trash in designated dumpsters, no dumping of bulk items.
  • No open fires except in designated fire rings.
  • Trash service is included.
  • Camper is liable for utility damage caused by improper use.
  • Firearms, fireworks, archery equipment, and explosives are prohibited
  • No glass containers or alcohol at the lakefront
  • Public areas may be monitored by security cameras

Noise

  • No unauthorized business activity (excluding quiet remote work).
  • Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • No disruptive conduct, loud music, or offensive language at any time

Parking

  • Washing of vehicles, boats, ATVs, or RVs is prohibited for all guests.
  • 1 RV and 2 vehicles allowed per site
  • Extra vehicles, trailers, boats must be parked in overflow areas
  • 5 MPH speed limit strictly enforced
  • Golf carts allowed for transit, licensed adult drivers only
  • No off-road vehicle uses unless authorized
  • No vehicle repairs, oil changes, or disabled vehicles permitted on site
  • Vehicles must be moved after gear drop-off
