I'm giving this one star due to this place feeling like a money grabber. Booked through camp spot. Which lies about a lot of amenities.
We reserved for one week but left two days early.
We arrived to no one in the office or the whole time we were there. Our spot was very unlevel and not wide enough ( photos will show). Internet was so slow . Cell service T-Mobile and At&t did not work.
When we were outside we were either dealing with smelling sewage or tripping over it. (Also in pictures)
Never found a dog park, outdoor theater, general store or snack stand that was offered on the website. The fishing pond had about a foot of water in it. We had no map or information on the park. Live music would have been but nope never happened. Could not have a fire due to the fire pit was in very dry mulch. If this place was cheaper it might be worth a night or two but it is very expensive nightly, and not worth a week in.

We stayed at Whiskey Ridge RV Park and had an incredible experience. The location is absolutely perfect, nestled right near the serene Lake Martin. Surrounded by an abundance of trees and thriving wildlife, it offers a tranquil, natural setting that feels both secluded and welcoming.
One of the standout features is the beautiful bathhouse, which adds a touch of comfort and convenience to the charm of the park. The other amenities provided also contributed to making our stay feel just like home.
If you're seeking a peaceful retreat with the perfect blend of nature and cozy comforts, Whiskey Ridge RV Park is an excellent choice.

This RV Park is absolutely beautiful! I love that it is tucked back in the middle of the woods! It's so private and the natural scenery is incredible! It has so many hidden amenities too. The nature trails down to the lake are something the entire family can enjoy! The Bathhouses are private and super clean! As a family who has traveled to RV parks all over, this is one we will definitely come back to! It's the perfect spot to relax as a family and take a break from the busyness of life! So excited we found it!

This beautiful new campground is a great addition to the Lake Martin recreational scene - in any season. Hikers will love the park's proximity to the Deadening and Overlook trail systems. A connector trail puts hikers on the Deadening - with views of the lake and the iconic Chimney Rock - in under a 5-minute walk. The Overlook Park trailhead is only 2.5 miles up the road, along with the new Overlook firetower with its spectacular view from 110 feet above the ridge. The popular Chuck's Marina and the Union boat ramp are only minutes away as well. But the best thing about the park is the care and attention toward camper comfort by the owners. Fire rings, picnic tables, sewer hookups and 20/30/50 amp service at every site. And there are eight primitive tent sites in the woods around the RV area. Brand new, super clean, heated and air-conditioned, individual bathrooms instead of traditional bathhouses - REALLY nice! Same goes for the laundry room. A fully stocked camp store, playground for the kids, pavilion and community fire pit for your social side. All surrounded by the simplicity of nature's beauty. Deer, birds and other wildlife wander in and out of the grounds, and the stars at night are incredible! The ground is a little soft, as the campground is new, so be sure to bring all your leveling gear until the gravel and underlayment firm up. And don't forget the binoculars, hiking sticks and fishing gear.
This is boutique RVing at its very best!

This is a beautiful park! Deer are everywhere! There is a hiking trail to the lake from the park! Scenic Over look, Foreverwild hunting track 2 miles away and the new observation tower is about a mile away. It feels like you are tucked away in the middle of the Appalachian mountains right here in central Alabama!
