Love staying here! I wish they would put in a exit gate so we could get out before 6am. We could stay more if it had that.

Foscue Creek campground is highly praised for its beautiful, clean environment, spacious and level sites, and friendly, helpful staff. Many visitors enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, scenic views of the river, and excellent facilities, including well-maintained bathrooms and hiking trails. While some experienced issues with the boat ramp and minor pest problems, overall, guests expressed a strong desire to return and highly recommend the campground.

We stayed at Site 36, which is a level, long site with full hookups. Has some shade and is on Foscue Creek with a view of the Tombigbee River within a short distance between some greenery (summertime). This is a well maintained park. There are posts near some of the site where you can tie your boat up if you bring one. The park hosts are very friendly and are great with sharing information you may inquire from them. We enjoyed the bike/walking trails within the park along with the awesome trails just down the road (Bigbee Bottom trails and Spillway Falls trails). The Spillway Park has covered picnic tables and a swing at the lower end of the locks and Spillway. At one end of the Spillway Falls trail there is an Artesian well. The trails are shady and we really enjoyed riding through the area. Make sure you see the Dam and Lock area just down from the Bigbee Bottom trailhead. We went to the Social Butterfly to shop for treasures and it has a little coffee shop area in the front. Walmart, Dollar General, and Dollar Tree are all close by. Also, enjoyed a steak dinner at The Red Barn. We have family in the area, so it is great for us to visit family in the different towns nearby. We love the park and will be back! Happy Camping!

Beautiful campsites and we had a great time as our Church of the Highlands Happy Campers group camped there to take part in the Demopolis Campus Serve Day. We loved the view of the creek and trees for shade.
Our only complaint might be that they desperately need a keypad to use a code to open the gate if you return after 10 pm. We attended a music event downtown and just barely made it back in time not to be locked out. They will not come to the gate to let you in if you are late.

It’s always a great time at Foscue. It’s very scenic along the Tombigbee River. Nice trails to walk on site and nearby. Demopolis is a lovely town with nice dining options and shops.

Family oriented, nice bike & hiking trails. Bathhouse clean and well maintained. Grounds are kept neatly manicured, large paved sites. Nearby lock and dam with park for viewing.

We enjoy coming to Foscue but I wish they would spray the ants on all of the sites, they get in the camper and on everything.
