Foscue Creek is a top choice for our camping club and we chose it twice per year… at least. The camp hosts are the nicest folks and always ready to help make our experience smooth and enjoyable. The sites are clean, level and everything always works as should!

First off, Foscue Creek is usually a really nice campground. However, in recent visits, it appears trees are being allowed to die and shed dead branches. During this visit, a strong straight line wind came through and several large branches broke off. Luckily Site 40 was empty or there would have been some major damage to someone’s RV. Site 37 has at least five dead trees on or around it, as well as other sites having the same issues. I guess, as it generally is with any federal agency, you have to go through so much red tape that it gets lost before anything is done. BTW, if your RV happened to get damaged, you will find you’re responsible for the repairs. Having a Class A motor coach, a paint job can cost well over $10,000.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Foscue Creek. We had a great experience as soon as we checked in at the gate. The volunteers at the gate were so friendly and handed us off to another that led us to our site. He made sure we were comfortable and gave us info on the park amenities. Our site, as well as the others in the park, are well spaced, paved, and easy to get in/out of. Most of the sites are fairly well shaded with some even in deep shade. The park was extremely clean and we felt safe the entire time.

We were on a campsite & had three more days to finish our 14 day stay by moving to another site..when trying to book the three night stay, it denied my Senior lifetime pass..very inconvenient..I paid full price until I called & got a credit to my card..the agent helping with my credit was very helpful and nice..she credited my account without incident..just wished r ec.gov had accepted my Sr. Pass the first time..having a great time at Foscue, Demopolis, Al🌞🔥🎣🐠

Really enjoyed the nice level site with a view of the water and the Nature Trail as a place to walk. We stayed in a 40 foot motorhome.
