Always a great place to visit. Quiet clean and beautiful place that is easy to ride bikes to visit the boat ramp, lock and local park. Enjoy the slower pace of the barges passing by. We stayed in site 51 and site 20. Site 51 has a great view of the barge traffic but is a tight spot between trees and other campers which did not allow us to extend our awning and was a bit concerning when storms and wind blew through. Site 20 is on the waterway but does not have a view of the barge traffic. It is a nice generous sized space with a large grassy area and a nice tiered sitting area. Sadly we had an ant invasion in site 20 which we hope has been cleared. We will be back!

Enjoyed sites 51 and 20 for several nights. Three major storms came through during this time and was thankful for hosts notifying campers of the shelter locations as we used it once. The park is always beautiful and clean. Hosts are terrific. A great place to ride bikes and fish. Be careful for ants as they were bad on site 20.

Great campground, big sites with space between, most are waterfront or river front with full hookups. Nice bathroom facilities, trails to explore.

We camped with 2 other couples and met another couple who have become friends. This is a beautiful campground! Very well maintained and spacious sites. The hosts were all so helpful and friendly. We were right on the river and it was a birding paradise! Canβt wait to return!
