We had a wonderful time at Foscue Creek! Site 54 did not disappoint, as the shade helped us beat the heat the last week of July. The park is in fantastic shape, very well maintained! Super hosts!

The BEST COE we have ever been too, amazing staff, they have the sites clean and call you to let you know your site is ready, Site is racked, no limbs, no leaves, no pine straw, fire pits and grills cleaned out, just absolutely the greatest campground and all volunteers .We recommend they have other COE managers to come here for training

We love staying here. I just wish they had after hours access so you don’t have to leave your vehicle outside the gate by the road. I officiate high school football games and would love to set up on a Friday, go do my game and be able to come back to the camper that night but the gate would be locked by the time I get back.

Great campground and would be perfect if there was an electronic gate. Kind of disconcerting to realize you are locked in at night. Having grown up in the area and being familiar with emergency responders in rural areas, I know it would be quicker to drive to the hospital if needed, but you would have to call a number and wait for them to get to the gate to let you out if you needed out after 10 pm. We have camped at several different Corp of engineers campgrounds and they all have gates that can be accessed 24 hours a day and they are not nearly as nice as Foscue Creek. Large, well maintained sites and most with full hook-ups! Just a little nervous being locked in or out... If we had missed curfew on our family visits, we would have had to walk a long distance in the dark and left our vehicle parked on the side of the road. Great hiking trails nearby and plenty of places to eat close by if you don't want to prepare your own meals. Very friendly staff. Would stay here again, but cautiously.
