This is a very nice campground. There's a playground for children, a few trails nearby. You will get an occasional barge and a train going by, but for the most part it's very quiet. Most of the sites are on some form of water, with nice views and fishing at your site. There is also a boat launch on site for boating. There's not much to do locally, but I highly recommend this campground.

Friendly hosts. Shopping and restaurants very near by. Make sure to see the lower side of dam and lock.

Best place ever to us. We have made life long friendships there. The volunteers there are precious people. We will be back next month to camp.
Most of us wish there was a ice machine there but no complaints whatsoever.

Campsites are cleaned between occupants, including the fire pits. Quiet, even when campground is full. Full hookups!! +++

The camp hosts were awesome. The site when we arrived was immaculate. The bathhouse was very clean and everything worked well and the water got hot very quickly. There were special treats around the campground such as wood carvings to gnomes and fairies in our tree stump at our site.

Fiscue is a 5 Star COE Park! Everything…host…cleanliness of the park…amenities. ESPECIALLY VIEWS! The only thing was there are a lot of dogs with campers…when walking - Dogs bark at you… and while siting outside neighboring camper had a dog in fence that constantly barked. I wish there was a way there could be more restrictions regarding peoples pet on the camp site.

If there is a negative thing about this site, I would say the view would be nicer elsewhere. Other than that, the volunteer staff was great. They even stopped me when I was doing an errand in town and forgot to remove the trash from the back of the truck and throw it away. They were very friendly as well. Always willing to chat, share any knowledge or just chew the fat if you wanted.
