Foscue Creek campground is highly praised for its beautiful, clean environment, spacious and level sites, and friendly, helpful staff. Many visitors enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, scenic views of the river, and excellent facilities, including well-maintained bathrooms and hiking trails. While some experienced issues with the boat ramp and minor pest problems, overall, guests expressed a strong desire to return and highly recommend the campground.

We Love the park , staff is great, everything is kept very clean, the only thing, I would like to be able to use the laundry facility in the park, not available to camper guest, we have to drive into to town and use laundramat

This campground is one of our favorites because it never disappoints! Always clean, always quiet and the camp hosts are friendly and helpful. There's plenty of easy bike riding space, on and off road. Catching a view of passing yachts or tugboats is always a plus.

Park host is exceptional. Park is beautiful. The Best experience. I only wish there is a way that pet owners were expected to control their dogs from barking!

Sites are always ready for us to arrive. Park host always riding around to make sure everything is good. Park ranger set up a tour of the Dam which was great. Foascue is one of the best parks.

One of the best well kept campgrounds. If you're interested in a guided tour of Demopolis Lock and Dam, just get in touch with the Park Ranger. It was a very interesting experience, as you actually get to look down into the lock as the barge is either rising or lowering.
Periodically, the local feed mill operates a fan on one of their elevators, which compete with the sounds of nature, but that is something you're going to have to get used to. We stayed a week and saw the the white cliffs of Epes, about 20 mi North and a little West of the park. The town of Demopolis provides several eating choices. Propane can be purchased at a local farm supply store.

We go to Foscue twice a year. Always very clean and neat. Very pleasant employees. We have never had any complaints. Love Foscue!

From Demopolis, Alabama, drive three miles west on U.S. Highway 80, and turn right at Maria Street. Go approximately two miles and follow signs to the campground entrance. It is strongly recommended not to follow GPS directions to the campground when traveling U.S. Highway 43 South to Jackson Street. Jackson Street is not conducive for camper/motorhome travel. The best travel option is utilizing U.S. Highway 80 to Maria Street as stated above.
DO NOT FOLLOW GPS DIRECTIONS TO FOSCUE CREEK. These directions are not favorable when pulling a camping unit.
Recommended Directions:
Traveling from the north on Highway 43 south - in Demopolis take a (left) on truck route Highway 43, then a (right) on Highway 80 west, then a (right) on Maria Ave., then merge to your (left) onto Lock and Dam Road, cross two sets of railroad tracks and 1800 Lock and Dam Road/park entrance will be on the right.
Traveling in from the south on Highway 43 north - in Demopolis take a (left) on Highway 80 west, then a (right) on Maria Ave., then merge to your (left) onto Lock and Dam Road, cross two sets of railroad tracks and 1800 Lock and Dam Road Park/ entrance will be on your right.
