This campground was ok. Demopolis doesn’t have much to offer nearby. Our neighbors were very noisy, and didn’t quiet down until at least 10 pm

This last Thanksgiving was our family's second camping trip at Foscue Campground, Demopolis, Alabama. We reserved our two sites a little later than we should have, but we were very surprised and happy with those two spots! Our great grandson had such a good time at the adjacent playground. The grounds areas are well kept, bathroom facilities very clean, lovely scenery at river's edge, and campground hosts are so kind and helpful!

Every site in this campground is a nice site. Every site seems to be on water or have a view of the water and there is plenty of space between sites.
We really enjoyed our stay at this hidden jewel. And there is very good hiking about 1 mile away of you go towards the lock. The trails are flat, wide, well marked and there is even artwork hidden in the woods.

Great campground. Our campsite was #17. A full hookup pull through site with a large outdoor area. It wasn't right on the water, but you could see the water from our site.
We will definitely come back to this campground. The staff were awesome and very informative. The maintenance guys were out and about making sure all the sites were cleaned and ready for new campers.
