We always go camping during the week to avoid the weekend rush. Very quite during week. There were about ten other campers on Firefly loop till the end of the week and then it filled up. The sites are full hookup with 120volt, 30 amp, and 50amp service, sewer and good water pressure. Most of the lots were of good size and not too close to another camper. No access to water from camp-sites, but other roads lead to boat launches. Grass was well groomed and host would come around at least once a day to check on you, probably more times that I did not see. Heavy duty picnic tables, firepits, and least one or two lantern holder at each site. Site #39 looked like a very roomy lot, we were on #40. We experience no problems and will return for another visit later.
We did visit Natural Bridge and enjoyed it. Although it is not the easiest hike, about 1-mile in length, would visit again in another season for a different view, still had leaves on trees. Wife had new knee and she made the hike.
Not close to any stores, nearest was either Addison or Double Springs, about 8-10 miles away. No store at camp-ground. The grocery store in Double Springs is large and nice. Mexican restaurant in Double Spring was pretty good and there is a Jack's in either town. Hope this helped.

Great Place, Quite, Calm, plenty of space between lots, and FULL HOOK UP!
The ONLY issue is they close for the season way to soon. In Alabama we can have year around camping but they close the last of October. Wish they would at least keep one loop open until Dec. 31st. Being owned by the National Forest Service, I don't know how to get that changed? But if i could I would.

Very clean and quite. Everyone very friendly. The only problem was the bath houses were closed due to COVID 19, maybe this can be corrected very soon. Would recommend Corinth to anyone.

Easy to book on Recreation.gov. Check in was all electronic. This was fine but spotty cellular service impacts ease of check in. Also, never encountered a ranger so couldn’t ask questions of anyone. Site was level, easy to back into, and had a lake view which was nice. Liked the locked gate protection since the campground is a bit remote. Rated only Good due lack of ranger availability.

We had a relaxing time at Corinth. The host was very friendly and the campsite very clean and easy to back in to. We fished along the banks and tho we didn’t catch anything we enjoyed the time we were there. Beautiful scenery very private back in to the Bankhead forest. We will plan another trip in the fall.

WE loved the campsite! It was very roomy, clean and more private than most campsites I've stayed at. The bathhouse was also clean. This was the third time I've stayed at Corinth and will be back!

This is a beautiful campground in the Bankhead National Forest. It has clean, spacious sites with full hookups, and some overlook Smith Lake. It is very quiet. I highly recommend this campground.
