We had a wonderful shady site. The grounds were mowed and immaculate. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Only negative was lack of open restroom on Firefly loop. We did not need it but we felt sorry for a family of renters in site next to us who had to jump in car and drive to other loop every time they needed to use the restroom. Wonderful campground otherwise.

Full hookups and a paved driveway are very nice amenities to come by in a national forest! And to be right next to Lewis Smith lake is just an added bonus! The campground host was also very friendly and helpful.

Me and the family had a great time. The only suggestion I have is to spray the area for ticks. There are multiple deer in the area that have tons of deer ticks.

Was unable to find anyone or process to cancel the reservation due to Hurricane Ida. We didn’t attempt to make this trip into the storm path.
