The area was well manicured and the camp hosts were especially nice. Just wish the bathhouse were open in the firefly loop. We will definitely be back

Had to wait almost 2 hours before we could go to our site, although it was empty, bathhouse was closed in our loop but open in the other loop, had problems getting a guest in to visit for a couple of hours, management on the upper level needs to be more considerate of campers and rates have increased over 33%,to much of a increase, with no additional amenities added

We got there at 9:00 a.m. because we saw online that the site was not used the night before. We have done this many, many times in the last approx. 18 years. I never see anyone at the check-in station since covid, so I called and was told I would have to pay for another day to checkin before 2;00. Is it right to pay for a night you did not stay. As we were about to leave we saw a man in what I thought was a Forestry Truck, so I ask him if we could park at Day Use until 2:00. He told us we could if we paid $10.00 for a day pass. Last year the campground price for someone was $20.00 if they had a senior pass, & now it is $30.00. (50% increase) I told the man in the truck I would promise him this was our last time to camp here. When we left we got down the road about a mile and there the man was siting on the side of the road, I assume waiting to make sure we were leaving. $36. a night is the price for non-seniors. Every other campground we have been to that accepts the senior card gives 50% off and is cheaper before the discount. The park is nice, but they will never find us there again. I do not recommend this park because of the way its run. I had to go look someone up to let a couple who had reservations but could not get in the park. They did not have an e-mail to get the gate code sent to them. Also there is a new contract company "BA" running the place, which may be the reason for this. When The Cradle of Forestry, & American Land And Leisure, ran this park it was much better experience.

The campground was well keep. The Staff was very helpful and nice to deal with. No TV recpetion at all. All the bathrooms and restrooms were locked, did not see the need for that.

My family and I love the time that we get to spend together! It seems like time slows down on the lake! Our children and grandchildren swam and we all got out and walked! We are making memories that will last a lifetime!!!

Great, large campsites with full hookup. Beautiful lake. However, Firefly loop restrooms were closed due to covid. Doesn't make sense to us why make all campers use one restroom in Yellow Hammer loop. Just made more people go to one place.
