Don’t stay at this site. It has millions of ants. They take over and get in everything. We had to leave early.

The lake is great and we”ll come back to this campground again but won’t stay in site 85 . I like the shade but not large tree limbs falling onto my rig. Large limb fell and tore small hole in my roof. Fortunately, the limd was dead , soft and rotted out. I pulled forward 10 feet so not directly under the tree. Glad I did because two more large limbs fell and just missed us. Also, fire pit was full of trash and cig butts. Other than that we loved it.

We had a very good trip, very relaxing. The ants were heavy if you didn't spray.

The spots are great. Bathrooms broken except the loop we were in. Is close to a town for supplies. Sadly we left early due to the fact our trailer became overrun with ants. Everyone around us had the same problem. I understand you are trying to keep that awesome natural feel but cleaning out the firepits and a little maintaining of the sites only makes it better. I know we would come again if it wasn't for the ants that we couldn't get ahead of till we got home and cleaned everything.
