You can tell the effects of budget cuts. The sites need a bit of maintenance but overall, White Oak Creek is a beautiful place to camp. There were some trees that had toppled due to weather or bugs. Grass and moss (?) were overgrowing some pads. The electricity and water worked fine, but some outlets had smoke damage evident. The bath houses were clean. Contractors were spraying the areas with pesticides while we were leaving.

We so enjoyed our stay a this park. Site 17 was a long pull through facing the water and being mid week the waterfront sites were vacant so it was a terrific view from our front window. One word to the wise, the ants. They got into the coach almost immediately via the electric plug and into the car. There wasn’t a bit of food in the bathroom for sure, but they must have wanted water. Terro took care of the problem inside. The biking through the park in and out of every campground equaled close to 5 mi. We’ll be back.

Very nice and peaceful. The staff were all very friendly and willing to help with any minor issues. It's a shame there isn't someone to clean the premises once they're empty. What a pity.

The site 18 was good and level but the hickory nut tree was not so good the squirrel would knock them off the top and put a dent in my motor home. Not one but three. The ants are a huge problem.

Beautiful view of the lake and great Verizon coverage. The site angles down from the road and could be difficult for some rigs to get level. We are 32' long and almost scraped the bumper on the driveway backing down. Fun park to bike ride! Laundry is no longer available, but the bath house was clean and air conditioned.

Quiet site, easy to walk down to the water and tie off our boat. Backing in is easy at this site, and it's a convenient spot with the bath house directly across the street.
