Had a nice time here. The only thing I didn't like was the electric. There was only RV hookup, no regular 110 plug in. Had to go to Walmart and get an adapter. I wish the website would specify when describing it online.
The campsite was clean.

Campground was clean, fresh cut grass. The staff was friendly. Main issue we had was our site and alot of the other sites held water bad. We were in a tent that sit in water most of the 5 days we were there.
In fact a camper two sites down had to change sites due to entire site being flooded. With that being said we have already scheduled another site for a few weeks from now. This campground has the best views of the lake

The staff at the gate was very difficult to work with. I had to call and make a complaint with the park rangers. When I arrived they would not let me check in even though nobody was in the spot I was checking into. They also would not let my dad check in until my mom showed up because she made the reservations. I understand rules and regulations, but at some point you have to use common sense also. After making a complaint with park rangers I was somehow able to go and check in. After making the complaint the staff was very rude while I was signing in. I love the camp sites but sadly probably won’t go back, and probably will just keep going to lake point. Camping is supposed to be relaxing, but somehow the staff at white oak made our experience miserable. We had 6 different families in 6 different camp sites with us and 4 out of the 6 had bad experiences with the staff at the front desk. So I do not recommend going to white oak until they get new desk workers. So camp sites I would rate 8 out of 10, and desk workers -10 out of 10.
