This is a beautiful place to be. We met some new friends every day and had a wonderful time together. We are planning our next trip very soon.

Being America the Beautiful pass holders, this is a great park to land in. Was grateful to see upkeep and maintenance done properly around the grounds, but disappointed no washer/dryers available. After having a great conversation with a maintenance worker, was super sad to hear campers basically destroyed the laundry facilities. Now we understand why they closed it down. The worker also sadly reported the restrooms are trashed regularly. Thanks to a few, it’s ruined for the rest of us. Beyond that, this is a wonderful park and we appreciate it.
P.S. it would be smart to remove laundry facilities available on the park info.

Somewhat disappointed in our stay this time. Bath house still out of order and from what we’ve heard not going to be fixed! Wrong call! Dogs running lose, fighting, barking all night! Grass not cut, trees fallen no reason that not cleared. Speed bump going out of park had a spike sticking up from it. If my husband hadn’t seen it, it could have done some serious damage to our truck/camper tires. When he told camp host all they said was “oh must have come up again, guess I’ll have to fix it again”. Just not the experience we are use to at White Oak.

We love this park. It’s perfect for hanging out in the summer, floating in the lake, watching people and boats go by. Most campsites are very spacious and a number of them are pretty private. This is our third time camping and we will be back next year!
One issue - the bathhouse in the campgrounds between the 50s and 60s is still closed. No laundry, no shower, no restrooms. This is the second year that it has been closed.

We arrived on Thurs around noon. We were advised that we were way too early to check in. The attendant at the guard shack was polite though and said we would have to wait a couple hours. Wee had to pull the camper into town and get lunch.
There was no air conditioning or laundry in the bath house and we were told they would not be fixed any time soon. We had to shower and sweat in 100 degree heat!
We won't be camping here again.

The grass needed to be cut, it was very long. Some camp sites that we had rented (rented multiple for friends and family) the gravel area for the picnic tables were overgrown and “weedy”. Some trees needed limbs trimmed for campers
