What Guests Are Saying
Isaac Creek is a well-maintained and beautiful campground located along the Alabama River, offering a clean, quiet, and relaxing environment. Guests appreciate the friendly hosts, good site spacing, and excellent amenities, making it ideal for fishing and enjoying nature. However, some travelers noted a lack of sewer hookups and occasional issues with electrical connections, but these did not overshadow the overall positive experiences.

Camp host was extremely nice. Heard it was his last day. Hate to see him go. Our site was very clean when we arrived. Camp host made sure we had lots of firewood...more than we could use. Campers at this campground were very friendly/pleasant folks. Bath house/showers were heated..... A real pleasant surprise. We had a pleasant camping experience at Issac creek campground.

This is my second time to camp here. Beautiful area, hiking/biking trails. Stayed on a site 16, located on the backwater creek.
Would have given the park 5 stars except the siren for the dam/locks kept randomly going off for the 4 days we were here. I never saw any boat going thru the locks. The office personal was unable to get anyone to come out on the weekend to disable the siren. After the weekend I phoned the office in Camden and was told they will be doing some work later on the dam/lock.
I will come back to camp but will definitely be checking with the office before coming to check and see if there is a siren issue.
