What Guests Are Saying
Isaac Creek is a well-maintained and beautiful campground located along the Alabama River, offering a clean, quiet, and relaxing environment. Guests appreciate the friendly hosts, good site spacing, and excellent amenities, making it ideal for fishing and enjoying nature. However, some travelers noted a lack of sewer hookups and occasional issues with electrical connections, but these did not overshadow the overall positive experiences.

The campgrounds are exceptional. The hosts are warm, welcoming, and very friendly. The shower/bath facilities are very clean. Unfortunately, some of the patrons at the campground leave their dogs outside and allow them to bark all night. Additionally, car horn alarms are sounded at random hours day and night. Restful sleep is often interrupted by other campers at this campground.

Having been an avid camping enthusiast for over 50 years I can’t say enough about how well thought out and maintained Isaac Creek is. Playgrounds for kids and adults. Basketball and volleyball courts with balls. Convenient and meticulously clean restrooms and showers with coin laundry facility. Miles of hiking trails with wildlife lurking around every
Turn. Level concrete slabs for parking your rig.
Fishing pier on Alabama river and multiple piers and boat docks on the creek. Individual trash containers on every site. 50 amp electrical service. I could go on and on!!!
This is the best of the best family camping facility; And I’ve camped from the Florida Keys to The Rockies highest peaks.

Beautiful sites- enjoyed biking and hiking. We especially loved the trail that is across from the fish cleaning station. Biking to the vintage playgrounds was a favorite for our kids- and watching bats emerge at dusk after seeing buzzards roost from the dam to the line trees was neat too. May want to have bottled water- water from tap does have a strong taste. Firewood was not for sale on site- pick up at local store about 15 minutes away.

The storm that had came through had things a little off. Tree brush was laying around on the sides of the pavement. Cluttered more than usual. That's to be expected. That workers were nice and proffessional. The bath house was clean and we'll kept.
