Sugar Sands RV Resort

Stayed at Sugar Sands for a month with several friends. The sites are nice big spaces with large level concrete pads. Lots of pretty landscaping. The staff was very accommodating with our group and we used the large kitchen and clubhouse facilities many times. Plus, so much to do in this area. We will definitely come again.

We just spent a month at Sugar Sands and the park is just beautiful. We were there with a group. The staff were all very friendly, accommodating and addressed what few questions we had. Mandi was very knowledgeable and so attentive to our needs. They have a beautiful club house with a complete kitchen that we were able to use for gatherings. We played games numerous nights and it was wonderful having all the tables and chairs to use. It was sad to leave but we will definitely be returning next year. They are secluded but VERY close to everything that Gulf Shores, Orange Beach and Foley have to offer.

We have really enjoyed our month long stay here at Sugar Sands. The staff has been phenomenal, very nice and helpful. The campground is very clean, well maintained with wide sites and some greenery between for added privacy. The clubhouse is great for hanging out with plenty of tables for games or working a puzzle, comfy sofas for watching TV or curling up with a good book. There is an indoor pickleball court that they will set up for you on request. This location is convenient to many attractions as well as state parks. The restaurant choices are extensive and grocery stores are plentiful! The only thing we feel they need is a dog park but the campground is an easy walk and you can visit your neighbors on the way. Already making plans for next year!

What an Amazing camp ground. It was very clean with amazing staff. If you are looking for a quit friendly camp ground this is it, note that it is geared for the more quiet style camping. If you have multiple kids and looking for a more up beat style campground, you might take this into consideration. It has a heated pool and very convenient location mins away from everything you need. 10 stars.

My family and I booked this resort as a mid way point in between youth sport activities. This is a very well kept, clean, calm resort. The major disclaimer here is that it is NOT kid friendly. I would not recommend this place unless you are 55+. The people are mainly not friendly, which I imagine are permanent campers. My children were the only kids there. We left after 1 night and went to Jelly stone in Elberta which I HIGHLY recommend. By 10am there were about 15+ doing yoga by the pool…imagine having children excited to swim and telling them they can’t because of elders doing yoga. I am NOT knocking that in any way but when leaving early the staff said “well it is kid friendly, we have a pool”…like I said, the place is very clean, well-kept, quiet. The quiet time states 10pm but by 7pm you couldn’t hear a peep. I am so happy we moved to a more kid friendly location, this is just a resort meant for 55+ in my opinion.
