The office people were super nice. The spots were level with easy access to utilities. Plenty of space between units and we looked out over an open field with deer. Factor in good internet, well kept and scenic site on the TN River, not much road noise and convenience to Huntsville. There is unfortunately, a 24 mile twisting, 2 lane road to get there coming from the South. 5 stars in my book.

Great friendly and knowledgeable staff. Campground was clean and quite. Convenient to town but far enough out to still enjoy your quite campsite. Sites in the newer area have plenty of room, full hook up including sewer and are not on top of each other. They are full sun at the moment (until the trees grow) but our site the camper provided afternoon shade for us. The marina is well kept and they offer docking for your boat while you camp if needed. Great place, will definitely be back.

The capgrounds are not kept-up at all with maintenance, there is tons of leaves everywhere. They are never picked up the roads inside are not in good condition not a safe place to camp

I helped a friend get situated in a tent. The rules for the use of fire to keep warm, had to be put out at 10:00pm, and it can be lit again at 8:00am. How do you think someone could keep warm at night with no heat? Ridiculous!! Other than that, everything else was great 馃憤!

We only went on the walking trail but it was a very nice trail. No uneven areas or anything.
