We were in site Fox 9. This is a very beautiful park with wooded campsites but not a lot of understory to provide privacy from neighbors. At least on the weekends when we stayed there, this is a very busy family campground with multiple families with many children in a lot of the sites. Although other campers were not particularly noisy, but the children were very active and noisy. Kids rode bicycles all day long around the campground and all seemed to be having a great time. With the campground full, it was a little crowded and noisy for my taste, but quieted down at night so sleep was no problem. The restrooms were so busy that there tended to be people waiting outside in the morning and evening. There is a nice paved trail along the lake that runs from the campground to the beach and day use area. This would be a great campground to spend multiple days in when the campground is not full. Also, a great campground if you enjoy water sports. The lake was beautiful.

The park was clean and the weather was perfect!
We've been visiting Clear Creek for years. We just miss the personal touch from former Camp Hosts. They always made sure you knew who they were and to let you know they were glad you came to visit. Now it's just a generic feel.
Also, our restroom was closed. It should be MY decision on MY safety.

I would love to see the campsites get the TLC that’s so desperately needed. I would love to see the bathrooms opened, COVID cannot be used as the excuse when the staff members including the manager are all piled up in the office WITHOUT masks on and then going out to vehicles that pull up, LEANING INTO the vehicles, and then walking back into the office. Doesn’t add up.

Campsite was great. It's the bathroom situation.
All areas for camping the facilities are open except where we were. This doesn't make sense. It was closed when covid hit, but never reopened.
Makes it very inconvenient.
