Beautiful, clean, and Ms. Tammy was so very helpful and friendly on the phone when I called to make a reservation. There are several beautiful trails that were easy enough for our young kids to walk and still see beautiful rock bluffs and waterfalls.

Camping has been life changing for me and my family. To totally disconnect from all of what the world offers is a breath of fresh air. And Clear Creek has played a huge role in that. The privacy feeling it brings to us is relaxing.

The park was nice and clean. Bathrooms were limited because of COVID. Note: Park was completely full. That made the waits for half the bathrooms a little longer.
The area accessible from the park was amazing. Sipsey wilderness trails were 30 minutes away and easily accessed. Park staff weren’t on site but instructions to gain access were easily followed. Lake was low but still very peaceful. Pets were welcome and everyone took great care to respect the rules. Overall, great experience. With she bathrooms were a little nicer and wish there were more of them.

Many of the bathrooms were closed even though they had full campsite loops. They had a hard time keeping up with cleanliness and supplies (aka. Toilet paper) in the one bathroom that was open in our campsite loop. Even though it was warm enough the swimming areas were not open and they did not let us know until the last email. There was no other place you were aloud to swim at around the camp site. The trails were covered with fallen trees and were in bad repair. We visited a couple other parts of the Bankhead National Park and although it Is a beautiful area it seems like it has been let go and has very poor signage for trails.

This was a quick overnight stop for us on the way to FL - beautiful location and good facilities. Would have been nice to have better signing at the entrance, it's a bit confusing and I wasn't sure where to go.
