Clear Creek is one of my family's go-to camping grounds. Grounds are always clean and in order. The scenery is always spectacular. We wish it stayed open all year.

Beautiful area. Showers need updated and eliminate push button spurt of water with no control over temperature. Very clean nice park. Wish there had been more trails to hike within the park itself.

Camping at Clear Creek was great! We were in site 51. We could see the water but didn't have access to it. That could be because the water level had already been lowered by Alabama Power. My husband had 2 bars on his cell phone, but I had none. There were three problems: 1) no place to fish from the bank, no pier, and 2) only one shower in the bath house, and 3) lots of poison ivy. Other than that, the site was spacious and shady. We liked the fire pits and the way the grill swings around and not over. We took our small golf cart but were unable to use it although we didn't read anywhere that it was prohibited. We were told it was because young people had been using them and driving fast and crazy. Seems unfair to penalize everyone. Why couldn't they just restrict users to adults with a driver's license? We were, however, able to use our electric scooter. All in all, a wonderful weekend.

We loved our stay. We really wish we could have stayed longer. The area was full of nice visitors. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The lake side was beautiful. It was nice to have bath houses all throughout the campgrounds. We will defiantly be back very soon!
