We were on site 29 and it was a very large site. The grass had just been cut so it was very clean. We had plenty of room for our kids to set up a volleyball net and a great beach area for swimming. There weren't any close neighbors so we had plenty of space for our family. We were right next to a restroom which was convenient when we had guests visit us at the site. The hosts were very helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay at Amity. Nice large sites and all sites we were well maintained. Bathroom facilities and sites were very clean. Definitely would stay there again and would recommend it to friends, family and anyone wanting a nice, relaxing and quiet campground with great views of the lake and plenty of treed areas to explore.

Great campground. We love to camp at Amity. Bath house clean. Employees are very friendly. Monday thru Thursday are quite days. Thursday thru the weekend is kind of busy.

We have been camping at Amity campground for many years and have always enjoyed our stay (except for a very few times due to inclement weather). The lots are nice, specious and quiet.. very relaxing.

Not a very good experience at all for me. I’ve never been to a campground that has the 10pm curfew, but apparently it is a thing. I had a late arrival and after dropping the camper and getting things set up I decided to go and grab a bite to eat. The campground host even told me where to go. This campground is a bit remote so there is nothing close to grab really quick. So after leaving for about 45 mins, unbeknownst to me I get back and the gate is locked. I called the campground host and
begged to be let in to no avail. The host simply told me to sleep in my truck because he wasn’t opening the gate until 7am. Additionally, he talked as if the lock out thing is common knowledge. I told him that I camp a lot, and whenever I’ve seen a gate there has always been a keypad. I was really shocked that there isn’t a special entry or something because I’m sure others have experienced this. Especially if you’re already checked in. After a long day of driving this is probably the worse thing that can happen. I was so bothered I hooked up the camper up the next morning and left and vowed never to return.

Getting There
From West Point Georgia, travel north on Stateline Road/County Road 212 for approximately 7 mi, and watch for a sign for the campground on the right side of the road. County Road 393 on the right leads directly into the campground entrance.
Highway access
The campground is accessible via County Road 212, which connects to U.S. Route 431 approximately 12 miles to the west.
Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
