It’s a small, quiet park, but it has some of the best water views! We rode the entire park and didn’t see a single site we didn’t like! The water in the bath house was not hot, but thankfully we had our camper to shower in and a hot shower isn’t a deal breaker for us. The gate keepers were AMAZING and so sweet! They make up for any negative experience we may have had!

We had a nice stay at Whitetail Ridge. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and changed our reservation for us when we found a camping spot that was better for us.

The campground hosts were very welcoming as we arrived. The sites were very clean as were the restrooms and showers. I would definitely recommend The Captains restaurant for seafood while visiting. The downtown area of Lagrange has lots of really good restaurants including Nola on Main, LaFamila Mexican and of course Charlie Josephs.

Spacious camping spots. The campground hosts were very friendly and helpful. The boat ramp was convenient even though there was no parking at the ramp. you are allowed to park on the grass along the road.

Great campground. Very little shade at site 43 but great for a little camper. Be warned they only let tenters set up on the rocks in the full sun instead of the cushy cool grass in the shade.
