We LOVE Prairie Creek Campground and have camped there many times with our group! BUT this time we were so disappointed as the grass hadn’t been cut all over the campground, and the limbs down and hanging all over. This I feel contributed to the mosquitoes everywhere. The bath house was always clean and the gal who cleaned every morning was as nice as she could be! Had this been my 1st time there I prob would NOT return! I don’t know what’s going on but it needs to be fixed.. The camp host Jofaith and Dean were very helpful but he other gate host was rude and does not have any “people skills”! Our camping group usually come twice a year but not sure now. We did speak to some of the C0E rep and hope some things get “fixed” , as we love the area! Thanks!

It was much farther out from any stores or gas stations then I knew. Bathrooms were clean but park needs to be updated. My site was beautiful and would recommend to anyone who wants total seclusion and has all food items needed while there.
Probably would not stay there again.

Very clean, quite campground. The couple working at the check in are very nice and helpful with local information. The problem of children driving golf carts all over the campground seems to have been eliminated. Highly recommend.
