Everything was good until our last day. The people that were on campsite no 11 had two dogs when I was breaking down our camper I had to kick one of the dogs to keep from getting bite. The only time the dogs were on a leash was when they were walking them the rest of the time when the campers were outside the dogs were not on a leash.

We had a nice site on the creek. Fishing was ok. It was exciting to see a couple of alligators.
The bathrooms were clean with hot showersβ¦. hot showers except on the weekends. Very quiet friendly place.

The check in process is harassing. They called to see what time we were arriving. It was like it was an inconvenience to them that we were arriving late between 10 or 11 pm at night. Weβre weβre coming in from out of town after getting off of work that evening. Then we were told it is quiet time after 10pm. Ok and??? Does that mean we canβt come in? The park attendants using the blowers takes away from the peace and quiet.

Site #36 is a very nice pull through site that is almost perfectly level. We didn't unhook and had a very nice overnight stay.

We always enjoy camping at prairie creek, the attendants always wait on me to get there to sign in, im always late getting there on Fridays π, the attendants are very professional and always do a good job in every way. This past visit was the first that we brought out grandchildren and they had a blast riding bikes and playing on the playground. Prairie Creek campground is by far our favorite!!!

Great campground, we stayed in the spring of the year. Nice and secluded bring what you need with you because its probably 10 miles or so to the nearest grocery or convince store. Site have a decent amount of space between them and several are right on the water. Will definite stay again.
