The campground is well maintained and the water pressure/temp in the shower was great. There are lovely people who were very helpful manning the front gate. I woke up to my entire tent and everything in it covered in about a million ants, so that was fun, but I was just a guest in their home anyway. Would definitely camp here again.

Don’t show up thinking you can just pay for a site there because you can’t. They’ll make you pull over to the side and reserve a spot online, while you there at the front gate. You also won’t be able to ride around and see what spots you like, you will have to pick your spot out based on an online map. Stupidest system ever.

What a beautiful campground! The sites are spacious and well cared for. The waterfront sites are breathtaking, several with decks and some with docks. We loved birdwatching while staying at Prairie Creek. The roads both in the campground and in the surrounding countryside are excellent for bike riding. We also drove to nearby Selma and appreciated all the history of the area.

Sites are very level and deep enough to get an rv and a vehicle into. Almost all of them are right by the water.
