We really enjoyed our stay at Prairie Creek. We were there a few days over Thanksgiving and the natural ambiance weather did not disappoint. We are a very active family too and there is plenty of area to walk/bike around the camp which is quite large. Sites are large, most all level and well spaced apart. We will be back if we ever pass this way again!

We had a lovely visit at this park and wish to commend Andi at the front gate for being willing to take time to find out how to credit our senior passes for a discount. It required she make a phone call that she did not have to make and we appreciated it.

We luvvvvvv to go camping at Prairie Creek !!! It is sooo beautiful 😍 ... all the campsites are clean ... well kept... the people at the office are very friendly... the bathhouse is well maintained... the laundry room comes in handy ...we like to walk in the tent area down to the point .... we like 👍 Prairie Creek.... it is a wonderful place to get away for a few days ❣We will be back ❣❣❣❣

Nice quiet, secluded park with predominantly waterfront sites. Isolated, so bring everything you need and prepare to relax.

Prairie Creek is our favorite place. We tent camp and this is our go-to place. We’ve stayed here numerous times. The Alabama River is visible from every site. All the tent sites are situated on the river bank, have power, water, and cars can not go into this area. Love , love love Prairie Creek. The people that work there are also very friendly and welcoming!!

Site, was excellent. Staff was friendly. It was unclear from the map and description but there was a short walk to the tent only sites. Wasn't a big deal for us though.
