Added these two days to our original 12 days of camping. Just didn't want to leave. Great camp hosts. Quiet and peaceful. You should not camp if you are going to whine about insects. Just go prepared. Great trip as usual!!! Looking forward to our upcoming reservations.

We love to camp at Prairie Creek, it is such a peaceful and enjoyable place. Can not wait to return. This was our first time camping on the upper end, we usually stay at the lower end and we really tend to favor that part.

This was a beautiful campground, so clean, scenic, and lots of wildlife. We even saw an alligator in the water in the morning. It was nice talking with the friendly camp host as well. We got there with just enough light to set up our tent and enjoyed a campfire by the water. It was also nice having an electrical outlet at our site to blow up our air mattresses. The only setback was that ANTS got into our tent overnight and it was a huge ordeal cleaning out the tent in the morning. We piled up the linens and threw them in the camp dryer. We also sealed the tent with trash bags and duct tape so any remaining ants stayed sealed until we got home. I was glad to have only booked one night. I would definitely return to the campsite, but would need a better plan to keep the ants out.
