Older campground but everything was functioning well. This is a destination campground for lake recreation; nothing much else to do around (restaurants, shopping, etc.), so come prepared. Lakeview was spectacular. Very peaceful and quiet in January, which would probably change during busy season. Staff was super friendly and 'checked in' several times a day to make sure everything was ok.

Poor directions. Gps had me in someone’s yard off 29. Better to direct to 40 . Otherwise excellent. Volunteer couple at front were helpful and very personable. Sites great. Showers decent enough

Prarie Creek always has clean sites and shower houses. Cell service is best on the river side when you can see the dam. We have been staying there twice a year for about 8 years and have always been happy with accommodations.
