The park was clean and the concrete pads make it almost perfect. Full hookup for such a reasonable price is unheard of in the private sector. The checkin staff was very nice. The only complaint is the bathhouses. They were full of spider webs and mold. They definitely need to be updated and deep cleaned. All in all for an overnight stay after 12 hours on the road it was an enjoyable stay.

Was a great base to visit civil rights sites in Montgomery, though not a lot to do nearby.

Very nice campground. Site was clean and spacious. Site was a little challenging to level on but not bad. We were in site 114. On really bad thing was the ants. They were everywhere

Our stay was Sept. 28-30, 2024. Everything was great except a putrid sewage smell that started just after dark each night and continued until around lunchtime the next day. It lingered for miles outside the campground; so, it makes me think it had something to do with a local oil refinery and not the campground itself. The campground was beautiful otherwise. The lake was very pretty. Wish there weren’t gators.

Arrived just in time for a gorgeous sunset after a long day of driving. I love this area of Alabama and will be returning

The campsite itself was very nice. But the campsite that I stayed on apparently had an infestation of what I believe are chiggers. I got bit about 100 times. Not sure how I got the chiggers there, but it was a difficult experience. Again, the campsite itself was very nice but the chiggers Not so nice.

BRING MISQUITO SPRAY!!! Site is in total shade. It rained just before we arrived. There is also a fowl small (like sewage) off and on. Mostly on and at night. Was told that the sewage storage tanks were across the street. No view of river even though they state river front. LOTS AND LOTS OF MISQUITOS. If we return would stay on other side of the loop.
