It was a wonderful experience. We absolutely love the campground. It was our first stay but definitely not our last. The grounds are so well maintained. We have recommended to all our camping friends.

Love the pull through sites along the water way and the back ins looked great also. Alway bring something to level your TT/RV the site I was in #5 wasn’t level side to side but wasn’t bad at all. We only stayed one night because of maintenance issue with my TT But I would have stay longer if I could have. The woman that was at the gate was really nice.

The park has four Camp Hosts so someone is on duty at all times. The sites are kept very clean. Bathrooms are cleaned several times per day and are some of the cleanest bathrooms/showers we have seen! Hosts are very friendly and accommodating. One host brought firewood to our sit on the first day - at no charge!Several sites are pull throughs and each of them has a full view of the Tombigby River. All sites have at least some shade and some have full shade. There isn't a bad site in the park. It was awesome to watch the freight barges cruise down river to the locks! We highly recommend staying at Service Park - we will be back.

We WILL be back here again! This may be a small park, but it is big in clean and friendly… and there’s a great river view to boot. The line of pull-thru sites put you in perfect alignment for a riverside vantage point to catch the passing pleasure boats and mighty barge-pushing tugs as they ply the waters of the Tombigbee. For us, it’s close to home and a relaxing place to spend some chill time.
