We camped at Service Campground in Alabama in our 5th wheel. We were just passing through so didn't get to spend a lot of time in the park. The park & it's facilities were spotless and the campground host, Paula, and her husband? were extremely helpful and friendly.
I've found that COE campgrounds where we have stayed in the past to be clean & quiet.

As we approached this camp ground we were questioning our decision to stay here . But as we turned into the park we found an undiscovered gem. This park is amazing and the staff treat you like family. The site I was at was fun right on the banks of the river. The camp grounds are kept immaculately clean and well maintained. If you want a clean quite and a relaxing camp ground this is your place. We will 1000% return!

The park was well maintained and all sites cleaned and ready fir the next customer. We had to leave two days early because of weather and those two days were refunded back to us!

The staff was very helpful and the facility was very nicely kept. We really enjoyed our stop. The site was huge and was a pull through so we were able to keep the 5th wheel hitched up for an easy departure in the morning.

Beautiful campground tucked away in between the woods and the river. Caters more to RVs but we used a tent which worked out great. Our spot was awesome. Level, spread out sites with a nice picnic table, fire ring, grill and trees for shade. Great view of the river. The camp hosts had only been there a couple days and were so helpful and hospitable. Hooked us up with some firewood, but there’s plenty of wood to be found on the grounds. Bathrooms were spotless. Had to leave a day early bc our ancient dog could not chill. But we’ll be back!

Due to the excessive rain and the pump for the restroom going underwater which resulted in the restrooms and laundry being closed, The Corp was to fix the pump the next morning. it is a great campground for watching tugs and barges going by your camper.

Super friendly staff, nice sites, clean facilities!

I rode out the bad weather that swept through the south a couple weeks ago. The staff came by occasionally to check on the campers and to let them know where to go in case of an emergency.

The showers were hot and clean. The campground has hiking trails but they’re still fairly primitive. Alligators in water.

There is noise from the barges that pass by on the river, so if that bothers you just be aware.

I love the peaceful environment of Service Park. I had a riverfront site with a beautiful view of the river and the boat traffic. I had scheduled a 4 night stay which was cut back to 2 nights due to potential river flooding. We had a mandatory evacuation order. I’m anxiously awaiting the water to recede so I can go back again. This is the perfect place to relax with your family!
