Wowza! Very nice campground. USACE campgrounds are always a few notches above state parks and this one is no exception. Plenty of space between campsites. Spacious sites. Beautiful setting. Plenty of trees. We enjoyed hiking on the paved trail through the woods. Friendly and helpful volunteer staff. We stayed here on our way to the Florida Panhandle and liked it so much that we stayed here for two nights on our return trip. We will be back.

The camp host was very friendly and helpful. We came to Tuscaloosa to be in this nice park while we attended a wedding in Bessemer. They worked with us about the gate for us to arrive back late after the wedding. Beautiful park. She suggested that we change from our original booked site of # 18 to #3 because we have a 41' fifth wheel that would have been hard to maneuver into site #18. Good choice.
