Very clean, excellent communication even when we checked in after hours. Had no issues with our site or getting there! It was so peaceful and tucked outside of town!

Peaceful,quite and shady sites. All the sites were very clean. Lots of deer and the lightening bugs were beautiful. Staff was friendly. Bathroom/ house needs to be updated and air conditioned. Site 35 is the best!

Very nice COE campground restrooms were clean no ac but they had fans to cir the air. Sites were concrete and level 95% were well shaded well maintained. Very nice paved hiking trail saw lots of wildlife. Beautiful lake. Highly recommend this campground.

I really enjoyed staying at DeerLick Creek, it was so quiet plenty of shade, will defiantly stay there again it's kinda close to home with just a short drive, real friendly people working there, Highly recommended ....

By far the best campground we've stayed at to-date! Clean with friendly and knowledgeable volunteer staff. Excellent location with plenty of amenities close by. I'd highly recommend a stay here!

Deerlick Creek is accessible via US Highway 82, approximately 15 miles to the north, and Interstate 20/59, which is around 20 miles to the southeast.

Policies & Rules
General
- Park Attendants will NOT be making reservations at the gatehouse. All reservations will be made via the recreation.gov app, recreation.gov website, or by calling 877-444-6777.
- Gates are open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Hiking trails, bicycle trail and group shelters are for registered guests only.
- Limit of two vehicles per site.
- Electric and gas scooters must be licensed and street legal
- Park attendants cannot perform site transfers Thursday-Saturday or on holiday weekends during the peak season
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
- No ATV or UTV use is allowed.
